When God’s people come together:
We open our office doors daily thanks to our financial donors who understand what it takes to keep the lights on and pay the rent. A woman finds her way to our center after searching for help online because donors give financial support during our fundraisers. Thanks to our well-trained, highly skilled medical staff, our ultrasound machines allow a young girl to see the new life growing inside her.
The centers are clean, organized, and ready to serve, thanks to our behind-the-scenes volunteers who give their time. Thanks to donations from our local churches, our closets get stocked with supplies. The questions of a desperate boyfriend will be answered because our male peer counselors understand what he is going through. Women who have suffered a pregnancy loss or a past abortion find healing thanks to compassionate client advocates who lead them to peace. Students learn how to have a healthy future because our Reaching Destinations presenters are passionate about the well-being of youth in our schools. The list goes on and on.

This January, we commemorate the 40th year of Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Crossroads has been around for 39 of those years! SOHL Sunday was established in 1984 by President Reagan as a day set aside every year to focus on the value of every human life. Today, we remember the millions of lives lost and pray that in the days to come MANY will be saved and given the gift of life. It’s not an easy battle. But this is where the mission of Crossroads and YOU come into play!
