Ultrasound Campaign Update

Earlier this week, we announced to our Mifflin and Juniata county supporters that we had received a $10,000 matching gift to help purchase an ultrasound machine for our new Mifflintown location. The Ultrasound Campaign was set to last until September 30th. We didn’t know if we’d raise the entire $10,000 by then or not. 

But you—our faithful support team—jumped on this to such an extent that we’ve already received $15,000 to match this gift! Within just days of beginning this endeavor, we are up to $25,000 and blown away by your response!! Now the question becomes - Could this one matching gift lead to $30,000? To $50,000? Or more?? We know God is up to something BIG so we want all of you who believe in this work to be a part of what He’s doing. We’ve decided to keep this initiative open until Labor Day.

As God blesses the ministry of Crossroads, we’re ready to pass those blessings on to our clients. That’s why we want to let you know of other opportunities where we could use these incoming gifts. The first 20 ultrasounds at this location will cost $2,000. We have already invested $10,000 to renovate and set up the new Mifflintown office to be able to provide services there. 

Beyond this, we have an ultrasound machine in our Lewistown office that was first purchased in 2013. These machines are like laptop computers, they become outdated when better technology clearer images of the baby in the womb are developed. This machine has already been serviced 2 times. Who knows, with enough response, we could replace that machine, too!

Finally, since we refuse to limit what God can do, if all these things were covered, the rest of the funds received during this campaign would go towards the mortgage at our newly purchased Mount Union location. There we have $73,000 remaining. We’d love to be a debt-free ministry even sooner than expected!
